Frustration?

This morning, Cha-san came out from his room, sniffing around the cat tree, and went back to his room.
He then started to growling and hissing at his tail.

The change is:
mama-san washed his blanket. She used the detergent only a little bit.
He started to punch more often when mama-san cleans cat litter around him.
He has small territory in the house compare to the parking lot.

It could be that Cha-san recovered enough and is realizing that his environment has changed a lot.
Mama-san is thinking to get harness for him and let him explore outside when weather is warm enough.
